Porn site moans about displaying its take down notices

Take down our take down
A porn site, which has been sending out take-down notices against companies which display its content, is issuing take down notices against those which display them.

Perfect 10 has been suing Google since 2005. In 2007, a federal appeals court rendered a far-reaching decision, saying search engines like Google were not infringing copyrights by displaying thumbnails and hyperlinking to Perfect 10’s perfect babes.

However part of the case, originally filed in 2005, is back before the San Francisco-based appeals court. Now Perfect 10 claims that Google’s forwarding of Perfect 10’s takedown notices to the Chilling Effects Clearinghouse website constitutes copyright infringement.

Chilling Effects collects takedown notices and has published thousands of them for scholarly research. Perfect 10 claims Google’s actions amount to copyright infringement because Perfect 10’s takedown notices include the nude pics.

We wonder if the take down of the take down notice will also be subject to a take down notice.

I know what i would do if i was Mr Google, take off any and all reference to 'Perfect 10' from google, no links, no photos, not a single mention and then watch the fold like a protein strand!

unless google got into their members section and shows THAT content in search results, there is nothing wrong with what google is doing,

their bots simply take all public info from any site and add it to the search engine..
if they didnt want the bots to do so thers a simple thing called robots.txt wich stops them from doing so..

either way, its their own fault if they failed to do this, and if google can simply find it on a public site, so can anyone else so whats the point of sueing someone else for your own actions

on top of that, google is not displaying those photos to sell them or anything
