Performance boost for the new games
AMD has issued a second hotfix for the Catalyst 11.5 driver that is supposed to bring performance improvements as well as fixi some issues for multiple games including, newly released Dirt 3 and Witcher 2 games.

According to the release log, the 11.5b hotfix brings perfromance optimizations and fix for various quality issues for Brink, resolves transcoding video lagging issues when converting multiple H.264 clips to MPEG2 Blu-ray video, resolves the intermittent mouse cursor lag as well as some flickering issues when using an AMD Radeon HD 6000 series card with DDR3 memory in DirectX 9 mode with games like Civilisation 5, Dead Rising 2, Fallout 3, Mafia 2, NBA 2010, ShenGuiChuanQi, Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, and World of Warcraft.

Other additions include support for additional Stereo 3D-capable displays (Viewsonic V3D241wm-LED) and 3D projectors, enabled AMD Crossfire scaling in Brink and The Witcher 2 as well as an improved performance in Dirt 3 title.

I love these bi-monthly driver releases! Makes more sense to address less problems more often for the sake of the customers

It's good to AMD fixing issues as soon as they can rather than waiting for the next release of drivers.

Slobodan Simic, I commend your efforts to learn the English language. Eventually, when you learn proper grammer, and gain the ability to write in a comprehensible way, everyone who visits this site will greatly appreciate it.

This is the 3rd or 4th update to the hotfix 11.5, I just looked in my driver folder and I already had two previous updates. So I would say more often than bi-monthly.

Fixes for a nine and seven year old game? Granted they're new cards but this should still be completely unacceptable. It's great that they fixed it but there's no reason this should have happened in the first place.
