Will be called “Horde Command Pack”
The first downloadable content release for Gears of War 3 will be arriving November 1st. It will be called “Horde Command Pack” and will include three new maps and three new characters.

The new characters are said to be Onyx Guard, Big Rig Dizzy, and Bernie. In addition to the maps and characters, the pack will include additional weapon skins and new fortifications for Horde mode.

The Horde Command Pack will set you back 800 Microsoft Points ($10), or it is free if you already purchased the Gears of War 3 Season Pass. There is still time to purchase the Gears 3 Season Pass (which covers the first four DLC releases for $30), which is a $10 savings assuming that each DLC pack for Gears 3 will cost $10.
