Boondock Saints game is official

Confirmed at SXSW festival in Austin

The video game based on the movie, the Boondock Saints, is now officially confirmed. While we told you that this confirmation was coming soon, we didn’t expect it to come during the panel discussion at SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas.

In addition to a trailer being shown for the title, we have also learned that Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, and David Della Rocco will be voicing their characters for use in the game. The trailer that was shown was short, but you should be able to see it for yourself in the next couple of days once the trailer finds its way onto the Internet.

No information on release dates or which platforms will be getting the title was announced, but sources tell us that a release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are pretty much a given, with a PC version likely. Expect more information on an expected release date to come soon.
