Aliens Colonia Marines gets a release date

Sega finally looks to release on February 12, 2013

SEGA has confirmed that the Aliens Colonial Marines title that is being developed by Gearbox is inching closer to finally getting release. In fact it would appear that if everything lines up, you could be seeing the title on dealer shelves in North America on February 12, 2013.

The news that a firm release date had been selected is a bit of a surprise as SEGA has never to this point given an actual release date. SEGA has said they were looking at a spring 2012 release, then later they changed that to an estimated fall 2012 release, but now it would appear that they are close enough to the game finally being done that they see light at the end of the tunnel.

Don’t be surprised if the release date changes again, but you never know.
