Codemasters confirms Grid 2

Written by David Stellmack

Teases with trailer, details to follow

As has been suspected for some time now, Codemasters has finally confirmed that a sequel to the 2008 title, Grid, is in development. A teaser trailer has been released by the developer, with the promise of additional details to follow this week.

Codemasters has been busy with the development of racing titles, including the Dirt franchise, as well as taking on the F1 franchise from Sony. With the studio’s announced movement toward being a “racing” only development studio, it is natural that the Grid franchise would return.

Sources have been whispering to us for some time now that Grid 2 was in development for a scheduled release in 2013.
