Cyberlink's flagship products get Windows 8 certification

Cyberlink has announced that its flagship products are now certified and optimized to run on Microsoft's upcoming Windows 8 OS and will receive Windows 8 Logo certification.

The lineup includes PowerDVD 12, PowerDirector 10, Media Suite 10, PhotoDirector 3, and Youcam 5. Of course, the most important two are the PowerDVD 12 and Cyberlink's collection of eleven multimedia offerings known as the MediaSuite 10.

Cyberlink solutions comply with Microsoft's technical requirements and ensure compatibility and stability for customers running or shall run the software on Windows 8 OS. According to CyberLink, customers will be able to take advantage of a variety of new performance enhancements designed to accelerate the digital media process on the upcoming Windows 8 OS.

According to Cyberlink, compatibility is assured to consumers who purchase Cyberlink's Windows 8 certified products from the online store. Cyberlink will also offer free software updates for all purchases made from June 2012 to ensure compatibility with Windows 8 OS.
