Horizon to get car pack on December 4th

Written by David Stellmack

Rally expansion pack to hit the track on the 18th

Confirmation of the next car pack for Forza Horizon has been announced. The Forza Horizon car pack for December will be called “December IGN Car Pack,” and it will arrive for Forza Horizon players via download on December 4th.

The car pack will offer a total of seven new vehicles, including a 343 Industries-developed UNSC grade livery for the 2011 Ford SVT Raptor to celebrate Halo 4. In addition, the 1971 AMC Javelin-AMX will be offered as a free download to all Forza Horizon players, which is a nice touch, but lowers the car count of the pack to only six because of the free car. The cars included in the package are:

1971 AMC Javelin-AMX (free download for all)
2008 Aston Martin DBS
2011 Ford SVT Raptor (includes Halo 4 livery)
2012 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
2006 Ford GTX1
2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Open Top
1993 McLaren F1

While the Forza Horizon Rally expansion pack is still on track to arrive on December 18th, the December IGN Car Pack offerings should give players something new to check out till it arrives. The December IGN Car Pack is priced at 400 Microsoft Points, or $5 for those scoring at home, but it is included in the Forza Horizon Season Pass for free. Season Pass holders will want to make sure that they download the December IGN Car Pack from within the game in order not to be charged for it.
