Facebook censors NBC

Written by Nick Farrell

Claims it is an attack site

Social notworking site, Facebook has blocked users from accessing the NBC.com website after reports that the site is infected with a virus.

Facebook users were told "This link has been reported as abusive" when they attempted to access the NBC.com website. Several security bloggers warned that the site was infected with malicious software, advising computer users to avoid the site.

NBC is famous for its news service, which has the supreme advantage that it is not Fox. Although it famously edited a recording of a 911 call placed by George Zimmerman at the time of the shooting of black kid Trayvon Martin which got it into hotwater with regulators.
