No Unreal 4 Engine for Wii U

Written by David Stellmack

Still possible to port UE4 game to Wii U

Mark Rein, Co-Founder of Epic, confirmed that despite the scalability of the Unreal Engine 4, the hardware in the Wii U is close to as powerful, if not a little more powerful, than what is in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In an interview with Videogamer, he confirmed that Epic does not intend to bring the Unreal Engine 4 to the Wii U.

While we know that right now the Wii U needs titles to keep up with the other consoles, it just does not seem like those titles are coming. We will have to wait till E3 to get a good count, but things are not looking so good for the Wii U these days.
