SCEE confirms PS4 playable at Gamescom

Written by David Stellmack

Will be on the show floor for all to play

Rumors that Sony will not have the PlayStation 4 that is playable and on the show floor has been met with a stern denial from the manufacturer. Originally word was from retailers in Europe that they had been informed that they would not have playable PS4 consoles on the actual show floor.

Sony says that they will be using Gamecom to focus on the PS4 and the games line-up coming for the new console. Speculation and rumors that we are hearing also seem to be indicating that we should expect Sony to announce the actual release date for the console in both North America and Europe. Sony of course has had no comment about a possible release date for the PS4.
