AMD releases Catalyst 13.10 Beta

Game improvements, bug fixes and frame pacing fixes


AMD has released the new Catalyst 13.10 Beta driver that will include all the features/fixes previously available in the Catalyst 13.8 Beta2 and bring some new Crossfire profiles, bug fixes, performance improvements as well as frame pacing improvements in various titles.

The release log kicks off with a bug fix where PCI-Express bus speed is no longer set to x1 on the secondary GPU when running Crossfire configurations. The new beta driver also brings updated Crossfire profile for Rome Total War 2, Saints Row 4 and Metr Last Light that increase Crossfire scaling by up to 20 percent at 2560x1600 reoslution and extreme/ultra-settings.

The new beta driver also brings a number of frame pacing improvements in titles like Tomb Raider, Metro Last Light,Sniper Elite, World of Warcraft, Max Payne 3 and Hitman Absolution.
