Microsoft to extend free 360 game promotion

Written by David Stellmack

Indefinite extension for Games with Gold

Microsoft will be apparently extending the Xbox 360 Games with Gold promotion beyond the end of the year as previously announced. The company has confirmed that the Games with Gold promotion for the Xbox 360 will continue indefinitely.

The promotion where Microsoft was offer the download of two free games per month on the 1st and 16th has given Xbox Gold members an array of games to download for free. While all of the offerings have not been hits with 360 fans, the extension means many more games are coming and that of course is good for Xbox 360 owners.

The current title available till the end of the month is Halo 3 and no word has leaked out yet on what the November offerings might be. We did however expect to hear what the November titles will be any day now.
