AMD releases Catalyst 13.11 Beta8 driver

Written by Slobodan Simic

Fixes Battlefield 4 glitch

AMD has lived up to its promise and released a new Catalyst 13.11 Beta8 driver that should fix the crash seen in Battlefield 4 running on Windows 8 OS.

Marked as the Catalyst 13.11 Beta8, this one includes all the performance improvements and bug fixes from previous Catalyst 13.11 Beta builds, supports all the Radeon graphics cards since the HD 5000 series and is available for Widnows 7, 8 and 8.1 OS.

Other than the resolvement of intermittent crashes experienced with Battlefield 4 on Windows 8 systems, there is apparently nothing new with the Catalyst 13.11 Beta8.

It is quite surprising that AMD had a problem with Battlefield 4 considering its deal and close cooperation with EA/DICE on the title.

You can download the new Catalyst 13.11 Beta8 driver here.
