Gets Micro-SD support

Scythe has announced its new version of the Kama Panel multi-function 5.25-inch bay. The new Kama Panel 2 comes in either black or silver with support for a wide variety of memory cards and a six fan controller.

With dimensions of 148 x 42 x 90mm (WxHxD) the new Kama Panel fits perfectly in any standard 5.25-inch bay. It features all the usual connectors like two USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, audio Line-in, Mic, and Audio-Out connectors and power and data SATA connectors.

The card reader supports SD Card, miniSD Card, SDHC Card, Micro SD Card, MMC Card, RS-MMC Card, Compact Flash, Micro Drive, xD Card, Memory Stick (PRO, DUO, PRO-DUO). The lower four fan controller can be removed and replaced by a slim CD/DVD drive, which sounds like a great option, as it would only take one 5.25-inch slot and it will get also you a card reader and a two fan controller as a bonus.

The Kama Panel 2 should be available soon at a suggested price of US$39.80/€24.95.
