OCZ Storage Solutions, which is part of Toshiba now, has announced the latest addition to its PCI-Express based SSD lineup, the RevoDrive 350 PCIe SSD.

Based on multiple LSI SF-2282 controllers (up to four) paired up with 19nm Toshiba NAND flash memory and PCI-Express 2.0 x8 interface, the RevoDrive 350 can deliver up to 1.8GB/s of sequential speeds and up to 140,000IOPS 4K random write performance.

To be available in 240, 480 and 960GB capacities, the RevoDrive 350 PCIe SSD series, according to OCZ Storage Solutions, enables both performance and functionality for applications ranging from scientific computing to extreme gaming systems.

With OCZ's proprietary Virtualized Controller Architecture, aka. the VCA 2.0, the RevoDrive 350's multi-controller design appears and acts as a single drive to the host systmem in order to enable drive-level management features like secure erase, SMART and TRIM.

The RevoDrive 350 PCIe SSD series is backed by 3-year warranty and comes with both Linux and Windows OS support. Unfortunately, OCZ Storage Solutions did not shed any light regarding the actual price of the RevoDrive 350 PCIe SSD series but we guess that these will not be sold for peanuts.
