Date for PS3 & PS4 Garden Warfare confirmed

August 19th release in North America a done deal

As we told you yesterday, Electronic Arts and PopCap have confirmed that both a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 version of Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is headed to the PlayStation consoles.

The game which was already released on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners in North America on August 19th and August 22nd in Europe. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will run at 1080p at 60fps.

Those that pre-order the PlayStation versions of the game will get two digital card packs and PlayStation exclusive customizations for both Plants and Zombies. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will support Remote Play on the PlayStation Vita. The PlayStation 4 version will also support split-screen game play and a Boss Mode.
