Limited technical tests also for PS4 & PC

On January 15th Xbox One owners that are Xbox Live Gold subscribers are invited to an open beta test for Evolve.

All 12 maps that ship with the final game will be available in the beta. Then on January 17th Turtle Rock will be adding the “Evacuation” game mode to the mix.

On January 16th, PlayStation 4 owners that were invited to Evolve’s big alpha test will be able to join a closed technical test which will be different from the beta on Xbox One. It will be a “Limited Technical Test” that will not include the “Evacuation” mode and unlocks will not carry over into the full game. PlayStation 4 users will be invited via Email and those invites are expected to go out soon.

If you are a PC user and were invited to the big alpha, own copies of Left 4 Dead or BioShock: Infinite on Steam will also be invited via Email to join a “Limited Technical Test” on Steam. Like the PS4 Technical Test there will be no Evacuation mode and you will not be able to keep your unlocks.

All of the testing is currently schedule to run till January 19th, 2015.
