Sony recalls 69,000 VAIO AC adapters

Written by Fudzilla staff

Shocking, quite literally

Sony has
announced a recall for around 69,000 AC adapters used in VAIO docking stations and all-in-ones.

There's no reason for concern, they will not blow up or set your flat on fire, they will merely shock you. It seems that some faulty insulation is to blame and so far four short circuit incidents have been reported in the US.

The adapter designation is VGP-AC19V17 and in case you've got one you should click here, provided you didn't get yourself electrocuted yet.
