YouTube gets adverts

YouTube is set to get advertisements on some of the content at the site.

According to Associated Press from today semi-transparent "overlay" ads will be put at the bottom of selected video clips. The advert will disappear after 10 seconds and the featured clipautomatically pauses if the viewer clicks on the overlay to launch the full sales pitch.

YouTube already has been showing display ads, but video ads look likethey will raise much more cash.
