EVGA gives GTX 280 owners a free HDMI dongle

You asked for it, you got it

If you've
just bought a GTX 200 series card from EVGA, or if you plan to do so, you'll be pleased to learn that the company is offering a free HDMI dongle to all GTX 200 card owners. It's still unclear why they didn't include it in the package in the first place, but at least you'll get it.

This is a nice move, as most vendors don't feature native HDMI on their GTX 280 cards and you have to use a dongle. At around €500 per card, you'd expect HDMI on it, let's just hope AIB partners start putting HDMI on the card itself, as nobody likes those dongly little things.

You can learn more about the HDMI giveaway program at EVGA, here.
