Comes with USB overclocking unit

Asus seem keen to get as much information out about its upcoming X58 boards as possible before the launch and the P6T Deluxe should be available with and without an accessory called the OC Palm, which appears to be an advanced version of Asus' LCD Poster, as it also handles overclocking.

The P6T Deluxe will support software SLI and CrossFireX support, although the slot layout limits it to two dual-slot cards or three single-slot cards, although it appears to have an open-ended PCIe x4 slot which might allow for a fourth single-slot graphics card to be used.

The board doesn't have any PCIe x1 slots, although it has two PCI slots. Around the back you're looking at a single PS/2 port, eight USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, a single eSATA and FireWire port as well as 7.1-channel audio jacks with optical and coaxial S/PDIF out. There are also eight SATA ports, of which two work with SAS drives as well.

Asus has also added a new overclocking utility called TurboV and it seems like Asus is following in Gigabyte's lead here with micro controllers for adjusting the Voltages of various parts of the motherboard. This board also features Asus' over the top 16-phase PWM design. Unlike the Rampage II Extreme, the P6T Deluxe uses a standard ATX form factor and it should also prove to be a cheaper board overall, but we'd expect the OC Palm edition to cost a fair bit extra.

You can find some more details and pictures here and an early press release about some of the features here.
