$91 licenses to generate $3.37 million annual city revenue

In San Francisco, drivers of popular Uber and Lyft crowdsourced transportation services will now be required to obtain their own business licenses to operate within the city, according to a letter from the Office of the Treasurer and Tax Collector mailed out to drivers on Friday.
