Not enough information
The European Commission has suspended an antitrust probe into IBM's takeover bid for Swedish software company, Telelogic.
The European Union antitrust watchdog said the investigation has stalled while it waits for information from Big Blue and Telelogic. The investigation was opened in October over fears that the deal would have a negative effect on competition in the market for software development tools.
It needs to make its mind up before the deal can go ahead. The commission had previously said it would decide whether to approve the deal before February. However, now the date is up in the air.
