Ready for the next chapter

Microsoft has announced its next Windows 10 event which it says it will hold in the Redmond campus on the January 21st 2015.

The event is titled Windows 10 the next chapter and we expect to see the newer beta that will include already leaked Cortana voice assistant integration.

Redmond will have its senior leaders at the presentation including Terry Myerson, Joe Belfiore and Phil Spencer who will talk about how the consumer will see Windows 10.

Microsoft supremo Satya Nadella will be there and the event will be webcasted. The latest build (9879) includes the Insider Hub app and Microsoft will share more details about the future of Windows 10.

Windows-10-Invite

There is also an enterprise version of Windows 10 coming and Microsoft is releasing more details about that too. The general idea about Windows 10 for enterprise is that customers want a converged Windows platform. The second key point is that Microsoft wants to create and sell a product people will like and will not swear at when it refuses to let them do something obvious. It plans to offer more protection against modern security threats.xx Lastly Redmond tells us that it wants Windows 10 to be managed for “continuous innovation” which could mean anything

So far we love the Windows 10 as it is Windows 7 meets Windows 8.1 and it will be a great upgrade path for many that skipped Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
