Dell announces World of Warcraft notebook

Dell has decided to launch a new World of Warcraft themed notebook offer just in time for the Christmas shopping spree. The new WoW themed notebook is Dell's XPS M1730 with custom World of Warcraft artwork all over it.

The new WoW XPS M1730, besides the artwork, comes pre-installed with World of Warcraft, its expansion the Burning Crusade with all the latest updates, desktop background and screensavers. The mentioned custom design is actually original artwork done by Blizzard's artists for both the Horde and Alliance.

In addition to artwork and WoW, this pack also includes a World of Warcraft backpack with bunch of Warcraft games including the WoW boxes, a DVD called "The Making of WoW" and Brady Games strategy guides. The pack also includes the so called Quest envelope for those special and rare WoW items.

The XPS M1730 World of Warcraft systems is way more than WoW needs, but who said that you only have to play WoW and miss those other hot titles. Some of the specs include an Nvidia SLI setup with 512MB of dedicated video memory and DirectX 10 support, optional overclockable Intel Extreme Edition Core 2 Duo processor to up to 3.4GHz, Ageia PhysX mobile processor and Logitech GamePanel LCD, full HD 17-inch widescreen display with 7ms response time and optional dual RAID hard drives or a 64GB SSD drive.

This 17-inch WoW themed notebook starts at $4,499 USD and should be available to all U.S. customers on December 11th. You can check out the press release and additional information here.
