Former CEO of Microsoft, the shy and retiring Steve Ballmer was in for a shock when he took over the Clippers basketball team. When he arrived he discovered that the players had been using overpriced, insecure toy tablets because many of the poor players had been told they were good.

Ballmer said that most of the Clippers are on Windows, some of the players and coaches are not.

"Do they really think I'm going to pay them millions and watch them be mannequins for the effeminate tools from Cupertino?"

Coach Doc Rivers apparently is aware of Ballmer’s feelings. One of the first things he said to Ballmer was that he was probably "going to get rid of these iPads, aren't we?"

The change over to something a little more manly was supposed to come in the off season. during this time that Ballmer will call Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the rest together and sell them on the virtues of having Surfaces. The NFL already uses them.

Of course Ballmer is very good at making sure that the players hear him and is not above flinging a chair or two until they get the message.
