Cleaning Robot Fires first shots in robot wars

Attacks woman for being dirty

The rise of the machines has started and apparently the Robots have shot first.

It seems that a cleaning robot was cornered by the security forces after it "attacked" its South Korean owner as she napped on the floor.

Apparently, the robotic cleaning machine thought her hair was dirt and tried to vacuum it.

The fire brigade were soon on the scene to help free the woman from the clutches of the Robot Terminator.

Of course, everyone is playing down the incident saying that the woman's name was not Sarah Conner and there is no chance of our Robot butlers will want to kill us.   Originally the story clamed that the robot was a Roomba, but the outfit told us the iRobots were not the droids we were looking for:

"The safety of our customers is paramount for iRobot, and all of the company’s products undergo strict development processes and testing before going to market. This includes safety mechanisms in Roomba that deactivate its cleaning system when it is not placed on the ground," she said.

So you have be careful about robotic knock-offs they appear to be the sort of creatures most likely to engineer a revolt.

Still that was what the Romans said about their slaves, until Spartacus made his appearance and already Nvidia chips have been seen keeping a little bit of their memory "free" for a purpose that no one, not even Nvidia can explain.
