Never mind the iPods

Apple shareholders will be nervously watching Steve Jobs as he tries to peddle the latest iPod range today.

Jobs' health has been becoming a real concern lately, as he has lost more weight, sparking fears that his pancreatic cancer might have gone out of remission. Jobs has always denied this, but many shareholders are hoping that a healthy Jobs means that the Silicon Valley saint will not be leaving the job anytime soon.

Investors were concerned that Jobs was not delivering the keynote address, although he will be making an appearance. Some analysts are convinced he is better and that Apple stock will surge today.
