U.S. intel officials still haven't got a clue about who was behind the massive cyber attacks on July 4th this year.

The attacks took down a bunch of government websites, and seem to have been well coordinated and executed. However, three weeks on, intelligence agencies are still unable to pinpoint the origin of the attack. South Korean officials claim to have evidence of North Korean involvement, but National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair says that U.S. have not identified the attackers yet.

Blair described the attacks as unsophisticated, and claims the U.S. internet infrastructure can easily cope with such incidents. Authorities have examined the attacks and found ways of fixing some vulnerabilities, and they have released their findings to other agencies.
