Wants a new, shiny browser for its Vaios

Sony
and Google have signed a deal to incorporate Google's Chrome browser into Sony's PCs.

This is the first time Google reached such an agreement with a PC vendor, and frankly we can't say it makes too much sense. Chrome and Firefox are free, and you can migrate to them in a matter of minutes, but most people just can't be bothered and stick to IE.

Chrome is a decent browser, but its market share is still a long way off from market leaders Internet Explorer and Firefox. Chrome currently holds less than 3 percent of the browser market, while Firefox and IE hold around 30 and 65 percent respectively.
