by on29 September 2011

As long as you are in USA
Amazon’s Kindle Fire, a 7-inch colour IPS tablet, that looks pretty much like a RIM PlayBook can be in your home as soon as November 16th, for $217.98.

All you need to do is to order one at amazon.com right now and Amazon promises November 16th shipping with “One-Day Shipping” option. Amazon wants $18.98 for this luxury and fast shipping which will get you to a total $217.98.

If you don’t want to spend anything more than advertised $199, you will have to choose Free super saver shipping and with five to eight business days and get your new tablet between November 21st and November 29th. This saves your money but most likely won’t be in your home for thanksgiving, but it will certainly arrive well before Xmas.

With Standard shipping, three to five days you will get Kindle Fire between November 18th and November 22nd while with Two-Day Shipping you should have Kindle Fire by November 17th, for $210.98. The more you wait, the more you are likely to experience shipping delays, but this depends how many of these devices Amazon has in stock, and how many more can it build. It will be directly influenced by demand.

If you are Amazon Prime customer and give them $79 a year for this nice membership that includes a lot of movie access and free two days shipping, you can get Kindle fire on November 17th and it won’t cost you a thing. This tablet definitely looks like a sweet deal, but let’s not rule out Barnes and Noble Nook 2 just yet. It can probably ship at similar price and could offer very similar specs. Nook 2 should also at least get announced before Kindle Fire ships on November 15th.
