AI Copilot does not play nice with AMD Adrenalin

I am sorry Dave those settings are wrong I will correct them for you without permission

AMD Adrenalin users of are less than happy with Microsoft after it installed AI Copilot into Windows 11 a week ago.

The new AI assistant is reportedly causing problems with AMD's Adrenalin software, where it keeps changing everything back to default settings every time a person reboots their computer. The software displays an error message on every reboot, even if no changes were made to any settings.

The issue is being reported on the official Reddit thread for the "Moment 4" update, which Microsoft calls these big feature updates and the AMD forums.

The conflict between the two software deletes custom fan profiles and overclocking settings and forces users to redo them every time.

Disabling the Copilot assistant fixes the problem.

The issue is reportedly related to the KB5030310 update, with some users saying things work normally once that's been uninstalled.

The issue won't be fixed until AMD or Microsoft releases an update. Microsoft seems to have a problem with updating AMD drivers or rolling them back to old ones. This has been an issue going back to Windows 10 on some configurations.
