$10 million for upcoming games

Ubisoft is looking at a very strong about-to-be-launched games lineup, consisting of Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, Shaun White Snowboarding and EndWar. All these games will be launched by Christmas time, so Ubisoft is looking to further improve sales by investing $10 million in advertising.

Ubisoft has chosen the South Park television show as the first weapon of choice, as they’ve bought the entire advertising space for the first show, where they’ll run ads for Far Cry 2 and Prince of Persia. The second episode will be featuring Shaun White, but Ubisoft will also air ads during National Football League games and Family Guy series.

Shaun White will also appear on TV, most notably ESPN, to promote the game, but that’s not all, as the ad campaign will also come to MTV, Spike and Comedy Central.

Apparently, the goal is to give non-gamers a chance to wish to play Shaun White and possibly the other two games, which is quite logical  - I mean, who plans on missing Far Cry 2 and Prince of Persia?
