It seems
as if trash-metal legends Megadeth are pretty busy delving into both sets of money making franchises these days, as it has been announced that the bands probably most iconic work, “Rust in Peace” is coming to Rock Band Music Store.

Purchased separately, each of the nine tracks featured on the album will set users back by $1.99/€1.49/£.99/160 Microsoft points/200 Wii points, whereas the entire album stands at $14.99/€10.99/£7.49 or 1200 Microsoft Points.

This move closely follows Dave Mustaine’s talk of high level meetings with the opposing Guitar Hero team on something he finds more exciting than just a Guitar Hero box set and it will be pretty interesting to see which camp is capable of raking in more dough for the aged trash metaleers.

The album will be available on Tuesday for 360 and Wii whereas PS3 users will have to wait two days more and will get a chance to purchase the album on Thursday.

More here.
