While Wet 2 had been said to be in development since late last year, we are now hearing that (apparently without much fanfare) the sequel has apparently been canned. While Bethesda published the first installment that was developed by Behavior Interactive, they apparently are not publishing the sequel and have no details or knowledge of a sequel.

While the first Wet title didn’t set the sales world on fire, it apparently attracted enough attention that a sequel was planned. Now, we are hearing from a variety of sources (which seems to be confirmed by a LinkedIn Profile) that Behavior Interactive has canceled the title.

While no one seems to want to yet go on the record to confirm that it is canceled, our retail contacts tell us that they have no listing for the title in their systems, which isn’t a good sign.
