Geforce 9800GT and Radeon HD 4850 cards

A couple of pictures have appeared of what is meant to be two new cards in Asus' Matrix series, which was first unveiled at Computex back in June. The two new cards will feature a Geforce 9800GT (or possibly a 9800GT+) and a Radeon HD 4850 GPU.

The Nvidia based cards look almost identical to the older Geforce 9600GT card, although due to the angle of the pictures, it's hard to see a lot of details on either card. The Geforce 9800GT card will feature the same connectivity options and the Geforce 9600GT card, in other words it'll come with a single DVI and HDMI port, optical S/PDIF in and a TV-out port.

The Radeon HD 4850 card is slightly different, as it has a pair of DVI ports and a TV-out connector, although we presume it comes with a DVI to HDMI dongle, as the differently colored DVI ports tend to signify HDMI compatibility on Asus graphics cards.

Time will tell how soon these cards will become available, but it looks like Asus is ready to make an announcement shortly.

You can find the pictures here.
