Quadro NVS 450, but only in Japan

For those of you that are running multiple displays, the new Quadro NVS 450 from ELSA might be of interest, as it offers no less than four DisplayPort ports. Although, just in case you haven't invested in a brand new display with a DisplayPort connector, it also comes with DisplayPort to DVI adaptors.

The card offers support for resolutions of up to 2,560x1,600 per port, although you're limited to 1,920x1,200 if you're using the DVI adaptors. The cards have two GPUs with 256MB of GDDR3 memory per GPU. With a passive cooler, a single slot design and a power consumption of only 35W, these graphics cards should be quite attractive to certain market spaces, such as trade floor systems.

Don't expect to be playing any games on these cards, no matter how much you want to take Wrath of the Lich King for a spin on for high resolution displays, this card isn't going to do it. However, the card does support Cuda, although each GPU only has eight Shaders, or Cuda parallel processors as Nvidia likes to call them on the Quadro cards.

We'd expect to see these cards from Nvidia's other Quadro partners around the world shortly, although as of right now, there's still a limited appeal for DisplayPort graphics cards. The ELSA cards are available as of now, although no pricing was announced.
