Overclocked to 660MHz

Guys from Madshrimps.be managed to score some info on Gigabyte's upcoming factory overclocked GTX 260 card. The new card uses non-reference blue PCB and features Gigabyte's Ultra Durable VGA design.

Despite the fact that it uses Nvidia's reference design cooler it comes with a decent factory overclock, so the core runs at 660MHz, while the 896MB of GDDR3 memory is set at 2000MHz. The card is still based on 55nm GPU with 216 Stream processors, has a 448-bit memory interface and supports Nvidia SLI, Cuda and Physx.

Since it is a part of Gigabyte's Ultra Durable VGA series, the card will feature 2 oz copper PCB board, Japanese made solid capacitors, ferrite core chokes and low RDS MOSFET. This should result in lower temperatures and and increased overclocking capabilities.

Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not disclose an availability date or the pricing.
