As expected, there are no Founders Edition version available in shops or from dealers as Nvidia will sell them directly from Nvidia.com in the UK, Germany and France. In case you missed it, the price is €319/£275.
When it comes to the DACH region, there are plenty of custom versions from Asus, Gainward, Gigabyte, Inno3D, KFA2, MSI, Palit and Zotac. Some of the biggest retailers/e-tailers like Alternate.de and Mindfactory.de, have several versions available and more are expected in the upcoming weeks.
The cheapest ones sell for €279 and, to our surprise, there are several good custom versions to be found for that price, including a couple of shorter versions, like Zotac GTX 1060 Mini and Inno3D GTX 1060 Compact X1. Of course, the €279 will get you a card without a factory overclock and standard custom cooling. If you are looking for something extra with a factory-overclock, expect to pay somewhere around €300 in Europe or around £260 in the UK.
The highest priced GTX 1060 currently selling in Europe is the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060 OC, a fully customised version with a triple-fan cooler, fancy LED lighting and a hefty factory-overclock of 1645MHz and 1873MHz for GPU base and Boost clocks. The same card is currently selling at Overclockers.co.uk for £325.99.
The situation is a bit different in the US. It appears that majority of the first batch on Newegg.com is sold out, especially the US $249.99 priced version. Currently, Newegg.com only has Gigabyte's GTX 1060 Gaming card available and this one sells for US $289.99 + shipping. The GTX 1060 is nowhere to be found on Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com is completely sold out.
Hopefully, Nvidia will be able to replenish the stock in the USA. Europe looks healthy.
