3DMark Steel Nomad will coexist with the current three ray tracing benchmarks, Speed Way, Port Royal, and Solar Bay, where Steel Nomad will be the heaviest non-raytraced benchmark, so it will be very popular considering the difference in ray tracing performance on different graphics cards. The Steel Nomad Light is meant for lightweight devices.

As said, 3DMark Steel Nomad will be coming in the first quarter of 2024, and it will launch on Steam, Epic Games Store, and directly from UL Solutions. It will run on both Windows and Windows-on-Arm devices. The Steel Nomad and Steel Nomad Light for macOS and Linux while Steel Nomad Light for Android and iOS devices will be coming later in 2024.
