EVGA announces 512MB 8600GTS

The Normal and the SuperClocked one

 

EVGA has announced the 8600GTS cards with 512MB of GDDR3 memory.

The first in line, the called normal one, comes clocked at 675MHz for the GPU and a 2000MHz memory clock. The card itself features 32 Stream processors and a shader clock speed of 1450MHz.

EVGA has also announced that its 8600GTS SuperClocked will be available with 512MB of GDDR3 memory. The GPU speed of the SuperClocked card is 706MHz, while the 512 MB of GDDR3 memory is the same like on the normal or reference one, 2000MHz. The Shaders on the Superclocked version are overclocked from 1450MHz to 1512MHz.

Like the entire Geforce 8 series, these cards also support DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 and full support for HDR + Full Screen Anti-Aliasing.
