OnePlus 2 gets a permanent price cut

Now priced at US $349 for the 64GB version

OnePlus has announced that its OnePlus 2 smartphone will get a permanant price cut, pushing it from US $389 down to US $349 for the 64GB version.

Earlier, OnePlus made some pretty big announcements, with its OnePlus X smartphone now available without invites and all orders above US $100 are free of shipping charge.

Now, OnePlus made yet another announcement and this time it is a price cut for its OnePlus 2 smartphone. Previously priced at US $389, the 64GB version of the OnePlus 2 5.5-inch smartphone is now priced at US $349 (€345 in Europe).

OnePlus was quite keen to note that this is a permanent price cut and has even decided to give a US $40 refund to those that purchased the OnePlus 2 in the last 15 days.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, OnePlus is also offer a free StyleSwap Cover or OnePlus X Case with any device purchase.

In case you missed it earlier, the OnePlus 2 is designed around a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 resolution IPS display and powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC with four Cortex-A57 and four Cortex-A53 cores, Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It was previously available in 16GB and 64GB versions but the 16GB one has been recently discontinued. It also has a main 13-megapixel F2.0 1/2.6" rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera as well as 4G LTE support.

Bear in mind that the price cut for OnePlus 2 is only available at the official OnePlus.net website and applicable for a couple of countries.
