According to several mobile internet device (MID) manufacturers, Intel has chosen to delay its "Menlow" Atom Z550 and Z515 CPUs to mid-April.

As previously reported, the Atom Z550 runs at 2.0GHz, making it the fastest Atom in its Z5xx family of low-power CPUs. This CPU will support Intel's SCH US15W chipset.

On the other hand, the Atom Z515 runs at 1.2GHz and supports Burst Performance Technology (BPT), which automatically adjusts the core frequency based on performance needs. This CPU will support both the SCH US15W chipset and the SCH UL11L low-power chipset.

Both chips maintain an average power consumption of 0.22W and offer the same 2.4w TDP, 512KB L2 cache and 533MHz FSB respectively.
