Seagate launches new 24TB IronWolf Pro HDD for NAS environments

Seagate has announced the 24TB version of its IronWolf Pro HDD aimed at multi-user commercial and enterprise RAID storage solutions. Featuring Seagate's own AgileArray technology, the IronWolf Pro HDD series is made to deliver 24/7 performance, reliability, and dependability.

Now available in capacities from 2TB to 24TB, the Seagate IronWolf Pro HDD series offers transfer speeds of up to 285MB/s and an endurance rating of up to 550TB/year, making them perfect for NAS systems in multi-bay and multi-user environments. The IronWolf Pro uses Seagate's AgileArray technology with dual-plane balancing and time-limited error recovery (TLER), as well as features built-in rotational vibration (RV) sensors paired with dual-plane balancing that addresses vibrations to deliver consistent high performance and reliability.

The IronWolf Pro HDD series also features Seagate’s IronWolf Health Management system for additional data protection, has 2.5M hours MTBF, a 5-year of limited warranty, and three years of Seagate Rescue Data Recovery Services.

According to Seagate, the 24TB IronWolf Pro version is now available at $649.
