Preview: TGT did it again - the fastest card on the planet

You had to be living under a rock not to hear of the TGT team’s magic on Point of View cards, and the guys are so up to it that we sometimes fear that their Beast cards will soon have no competition. As soon as we finished testing of our GTX 580 Beast 2, which is currently the fastest single GPU card around, we received the fastest dual-GPU card – the GTX 590 Ultra Charged. This is not all though as TGT is prepping a water cooler GTX 590 that will run even faster.

Nvidia’s reference GPU clocks are 608MHz, but TGT pushed it to 692MHz on the Ultra Charged version. Good news is that the card is already available and you can find it here.

Below you see GPUZ screenshots of GTX 590 at reference and Ultra Charged clocks.

You’ve heard that a few GTX 590 cards kicked the bucket due to extreme voltages, but you won’t worry about that with TGT’s cards. First of all, GTX 590 Ultra Charged is a factory overclocked graphics card that is covered by warranty and voltages are kept in check. Nvidia launched no less than three new GTX 590 drivers in less than a week, and they come with many improvements in stability and performance.

You can check out some preliminary results below, which confirm that GTX 590 Ultra Charged is the fastest card around at the moment.
