3DMark Next is coming
We are getting close to the release of the new 3DMark and it will probably be called Next. Futuremark has recently released a new addition to its PCMark lineup called Vantage, and 3Dmark is something that people expect.
According to the various posts, and the new Game-O-meter located on Yougamers.com Web site, new 3DMark's system requirements have been revealed.
Minimum system requirements:
* X86 compatible single core CPU with SSE2 support and a performance, which are comparable with a Pentium D 3,2GHz+.
* DirectX 10 compatible with 256 MB memory
* 1024MB Memory
* 2GB of free fixed disks
* Windows Vista
Recommended system requirements:
* Intel core 2 Duo E6600, or comparable AMD CPU
* DirectX 10 compatible with 512 MB memory
* 2048MB Memory
* 2GB of free fixed disks
* Windows Vista
It looks like the new 3DMark will push the current systems to the limit. Release date is still unknown, but it is definitely close.
