Sapphire shows AMD Strix Halo mini-PC prototype at Embedded World 2026

Sapphire has demoed a new working mini-PC prototype at the Embedded World 2026, powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395. Focused on AI workloads, Sapphire actually paired up two of these units for double the AI power.

While it is not the first mini-PC from Sapphire, the new one is actually much more powerful compared to the earlier-launched EDGE AI systems. Spotted by ComputerBase.de over at the Embedded World 2026 showfloor, the system features AMD’s Strix Halo Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128GB of LPDDR5X memory.

While the two units were connected via USB-C, according to the information, Sapphire actually aims to connect multiple units with Ethernet, so the final product will most likely end up with dual LAN ports.

Sapphire is targeting Computex 2026 for launch, and we might see a couple of different SKUs.
