Colorful introduces new iGame B850M ULTRA Series microATX motherboards

Colorful Technology has introduced the new iGame B850M ULTRA-S and iGame B850M ULTRA-OC microATX motherboards for AMD Ryzen platforms, combining PCIe 5.0 support, DDR5 memory compatibility, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity in compact designs aimed at gamers, creators, and PC enthusiasts.

The new iGame B850M ULTRA Series adopts an all-black design with matte-finish cooling armor, aiming to match the design of its recently introduced iGame Geforce RTX 50 Series ULTRA graphics cards. Both motherboards support AMD Ryzen 9000 Series processors, including X3D models, and feature PCIe 5.0 and support for AMD’s EXPO.

The iGame B850M ULTRA-S targets mainstream gaming and productivity systems with a 14+2+1 phase 80A DrMOS power design, dual 8-pin CPU connectors, and support for up to 256GB of DDR5 memory at speeds up to DDR5-8400 (OC). It also supports three M.2 slots, with two PCIe 5.0 x4 interfaces and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, while the rest of the connectivity options include USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort, 2.5Gb Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 7.

Meanwhile, the iGame B850M ULTRA-OC is designed for overclocking-focused builds, featuring a dual-DIMM memory layout and support for DDR5 speeds up to DDR5-8800 through manual overclocking. It uses a slightly cut-down 10+2+1 phase 60A DrMOS power delivery system, but adds upgraded 5Gb Ethernet networking alongside four M.2 slots with PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 support.

Both models also include PCIe 5.0 x16 slots with quick-release mechanisms, M.2 quick-latch heatsinks, and multiple ARGB headers for synchronized system lighting.

Unfortunately, Colorful did not provide any details regarding the actual release date or the price.
