Intel’s upcoming Nova Lake-H laptop processor appears to have posed for a photograph, although whoever cropped it removed most of the useful clues.
Hardware leaker momomo_us shared the image, which shows a rectangular processor package with several visible silicon tiles. There is no motherboard name or product label to identify where it came from.
According to VideoCardz., the picture may have originated in an industrial or embedded motherboard listing, but the site has been unable to trace it.
Leaker Jaykihn identified the chip as Nova Lake-H with a 4+8+4 configuration. That means four performance cores, eight efficiency cores and four low-power efficiency cores, giving Chipzilla’s mobile processor 16 CPU cores.
In an update, momomo_us said the pictured part has four Xe graphics cores and 18MB of cache. Those specifications remain leak claims, with no official Intel identification of the photograph.
The CPU configuration has appeared in earlier reports about the Core Ultra 9 4970H. However, that model was tipped to carry 12 Xe3P graphics cores, so attaching its name to this four-Xe part would be premature.
No benchmark results show what the chip can do, and its operating frequencies remain unknown.
